Technical View
The RLX is almost identical to the current RL in overall length, The RLX will also be two inches wider than the current model, and all this will equate to more room inside the cabin. The RLX will also feature the first application of Acura Link, their mobile based two way communications system, very similar to GM’s OnStar, and offer the latest technology which is easy to operate and controls.
More Features
RLX will be offered a remarkable an ultra premium sound system, 14-speaker, ELS surround sound system in their new luxury Sedan. At this time is not sure that in Canada, this system will be offered or not. RLX has standard eight airbags, including knee airbags for driver and front passengers, Forward collision warning and lane-departure warning system.
Design Advantages
All this new technology will be packaged in a new design RLX, with Jewel Eye, LED headlamps, which use a total of 8 separate high intensity LEDs and ultra reflective optical lenses. Another big advantage is, more stable brakes. On stops, no matter the speed the RLX system kicks the toe in smoothly up to a maximum, to help keep the rear wheels more stable.
Foretelling
Between these great technologies, we assume that the 2014 Acura RLX will be more reliable, comfortable and enjoyable to drive. In the next few years we should not surprise if the Acura name does some status climbing in coming few years. Hope for the best & happy selling!
