    2014 BMW Z4 – a comprehensive review

    The new 2014 BMW Z4 delivers a driving pleasure to its customers that they have always expected form the brand. Offering both comfort and the sporting ability, it is sure to satisfy personal preferences. Choose from three metallic paint colors -Valencia Orange, Glacier Silver and Mineral Grey There are detailed refinements on the interior and some new exterior features. The new Hyper Orange design package provides fresh impetus and greater appeal to 2014 BMW Z4.

    Exterior and interiors

    You won’t find many cosmetic changes on the outside but there is certainly more space in the interiors. Design Pure Traction option package offers unique paint color selections for the exterior. One look on the insides and you will notice those  trim-specific seats and accents for the interior.  The new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels are part of host of modest upgrades.  The4 power-retractable hardtop roof that is painted the same color as the car’s body operates up to 25 mph vehicle speeds.

    Engine and Performance

    The 35is driveline in the redesigned BMW Z4 means you get a great output version of the turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 engine. With335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, this is certainly a revamped version of its Z4 roadster. The Z4 lineup, elsewhere e in the world makes an entry with 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The 6 speed manual transmission powers the rear wheels.  You get 34.6 mpg maximum and the base model can reach 62 mph in 7.9 seconds.

    Safety features

    2014 BMW Z4 includes Automatic Collision Notification that puts a live operator in touch with the vehicle.  The rescue personnel can reach the exact location  for help even if  none of the occupants respond.

    Pros

    •    Great looks and performance
    •    Fast and gorgeous
    •    oil changes at the dealerships are fantastic
    •    Astounding gas mileage

     Cons

    •    Very expensive to maintain
    •    Average reliability
    •    Expensive to insure.
    Pricing will be announced closer to its launch.  There will be 2 less powerful versions of the Z4.  The different modes allow the drivers to select from distinctive set-ups for the car.  Expect great driving pleasure on the road.
